We are a private hatchery striving to maintain high standards in bio security. All our staff live in on the premises, minimizing the chance of diseases entering the area. Drislan Chicks is a private hatchery where we produce fertile hatching eggs from our Cobb and Ross broiler breeders. These eggs are collected, hatched and the chicks are vaccinated before being sold to the public as day old broiler chicks. Our mission is to produce high quality day old broiler chicks at the best prices to be sold to the public. Making this possible, is the fact that fertile eggs are produced on the premises keeping costs and overheads low. Chicks are vaccinated with IB (Infectious Bronchitis) and Newcastle directly after the hatch. All deliveries are done by the owners to ensure a lively chick at delivery. Rearing and management information is provided to every new client at delivery. Our Cobb and Ross broiler breeders are reared on the premises. Great care is taken to ensure all vaccination programs are followed to ensure a healthy, strong parent which in turn will produce a equally strong chick. Proper feeding regimes are followed to ensure optimum growth in parent stock, and maximizing productivity.
